Entune Multimedia System

Toyota Entune is a complete, easy to use system designed to enhance the Toyota driving and ownership experience and build a stronger connection between consumers and their new Toyota.

In collaboration with Tier 1 partners Denso and Harman Becker, Tweddle and its connected service platform enable Entune to deliver mobile applications and services safely and securely into the driving environment, increasing vehicle value and enhancing the overall ownership experience.

Entune offers a full range of applications and services accessible on the mobile handset or interactive in-vehicle display including:

  • Bing (Local Search)
  • OpenTable (Restaurant Reservations)
  • Pandora Internet Radio
  • iHeart Radio Stations
  • Movie Tickets, Sports, Stocks and more!

By integrating these services into the Entune system, owners have the ability to find that brand new coffee shop downtown, make a restaurant reservation using their personalized account or listen to their favorite local and custom internet radio stations.

To get started, owners sign up on the Entune website and follow the registration and app download wizard. Once installed on the phone, the Entune app provides unique connection and user authentication technology recognized by Toyota’s “Entune ready” in-vehicle systems. The apps in the car are designed specifically to complement the in-vehicle experience while minimizing driver distraction.

In addition to the integration of other popular mobile applications, other Entune features include:

  • Simple “over the air updates” of many Entune services
  • Conversational voice recognition for Bing Local Search
  • An Entune owner website to facilitate account management and application download
  • Send POIs to vehicle from custom Entune mobile application on the phone
  • Provide owner notifications and updates through the Toyota Entune app (coming soon!)

Utilizing Tweddle’s innovative wireless connectivity, content aggregation and user authentication platform, Entune provides vehicle owners with access and control of popular infotainment and location based services via an OEM branded mobile portal and in-vehicle display. Tweddle’s platform will be available for evaluation and integration by OEMs and Tier 1 partners beginning Q2 2011.
